Autumn Find out about Kings 2024
The KCLEA autumn event is when members go into Kings to see and hear what is happening inTeaching and Research
this first year we visit and tour the Quad Labs at the Strand campus on Wednesday 6th November
and hear about Kings Engineering at Guys/St Thomas' and the Strand In future years we will hear about particular
Research and Directions that the department and school are taking and how KCLEA members can help .
As for any KCLEA Event you can network with Kings Engineers of all ages and backgrounds while enjoying ample refreshments ,
sharing experiences and meeting new people.
In the formal part of the Event Prof Chris Lorenz, Head of the Department of Engineering
and Prof Kawal Rhode, Head of Education at the School of Biomedical Engineering and Imaging Science
will outline what is going on at Kings and then they and some staff will join in the networking
we will also have guests from KCLES, STEMM and the Black Engineers initiative.
Engineering has changed since you graduated
-come and update yourself on what Kings Engineering is doing today by forming the Engineers
and the Technology of the future

at London Institute of Health Engineering and finding out about its first year achievements.
The Traditional Annual Lunch on Saturday 14 June (the Kings Official Birthday) on the 8thFloor of Bush House
we welcome members and their Guests to network over a meal with each other and selected students, and see the Air Display flying in!!
